I have deep empathy for someone when they deal with stress in life such as death, depression or even not being able to see someone until they finish an assignment. I get pain in my heart when I see people worrying about not seeing people or losing people they love. The reason why I feel empathetic for these people is that I have dealt with these issues. I felt sad when Siena was sick and had a case of the Hershey Squirts. I was worried about her having diarrhea. The reason why I felt so bad for our pooch is that I had diarrhea as a child, and it was not fun. I feel sad when I hear people have died because it reminds me of the pain in my father’s heart when his dad died even though I was very young. This deep empathy can be fine in certain situations when it comes to death or when someone has a rare medical condition, but not when it comes to feeling sad over somebody who cannot see their boyfriend until their homework is done. You need to be careful of how empathetic you are because it can take away from your own feelings and being able to express them.
