Hi readers

Ever wonder if it’s possible to make a conversation skills book that is relatable and funny to read? If so, you might give this book a try. Patrick King who is the author of Laugh Tactics: Master Conversational Humour and Be Funny on Command- Think Quickly on Your Feet Is a specialist who coaches clients with skills that improve their conversations at www.PatrickKingConsulting.com. In this book, Patrick gives people like me tips on how to be witty in daily conversation. This book is written in 18 chapters and has subheadings and steps that make it easy to process. If you are a person who is starting to read this book, you can go back to each chapter for a refresher read. King also gives you clever examples that will make you laugh out loud. The bottom line is that this book will eradicate the need for dad jokes and puns (which would be a sad experience for me because I like dad jokes). Humour helps us be our best selves in front of other people and improve our moods if we have a stressful day and help us cope with stress and allows us to display our personality. I am just 2/3 way through this book and I love it so much, I am already incorporating some techniques and examples into my daily conversations. Guess what, they work like magic. I get eyebrow raises and laughs. I suggest it for people who love to tell jokes or struggling to land jokes. I would also suggest this book for people who are taking improv classes because it has some communication tricks to hone your skills. Mostly I wanted to tell you that this book is a must-read for people who are socially awkward. He gives real tips for change in a much funnier read than a social skills book. Personally, I found it to be better than a social skills book because it does not focus on rules. It is more playful with language. It peppers tips and tricks to help you to be less vanilla in your conversation to sound a little bit like King.
